I tend to drive the same as Chorobe. I play around with "M" mode occasionally, but I don't like the fact that the software is still directing the shift points (e.g. even after you shift, there's usually a shift delay as the computer decides when it's the best place to shift). Per Justin's suggestion, when I "really" want to pass on the freeway, I switch into "M" while in D, which downshifts quickly to third, and then step on it. When I'm back to cruising, switch to "A" and back into overdrive. On city streets I also use S2 alot, especially stop sign-to-stop sign.

BTW, There are times when I lament not getting a 6 speed, but then as I sit in our horrendous Bay Area traffic, my battered 'ole knees thank me for not having to clutch and heel-&-toe. I guess I'm getting old.
