I have a thing about watches, most likely because my childhood found them to be a rare and cherished commodity. I truly do love to look at them and play with them, but unfortunately they keep track of something I would rather ignor blatantly. Therefore I wear them sparingly and lately when I find it necessary I usually wear my big Citizen Diving watch as nothing seems able to damage it in any way. The Rolex and the old solid Gold Elgin are nice to wear to the occasional swaraayy!! Sometimes just for fun I buy several of the cheap big colorful wrist watches at Rite-aid or Wallmart for $15 to $25 and give them away to friends when they are late or kids who don't come on time to dinner.
