Can't believe it (more) (archive)

Last week I posted a question about 'trans prog fail' fault condition which happened when my wife was driving the car. Since then we swapped cars and I have driven it every day for around 500 miles in sport, adaptive and manual shift modes. I have sat in nose to tail traffic and blasted down the freeways. Nailed it from a standstill and driven slow. Could not replicate the fault at all.

My wife got in the car this morning and drove 10 miles before 'trans prog fail' appears on the OBC!!! What is she doing to our car?

I have it booked into the Stealer next week for fault readout so hopefully the mystery will be resolved then. Maybe 8 series just object to women drivers ;-)
