You can put a baby seat in the back and sit with two adults in the front - - but not for long trips in my opinion. This is due to the fact that the passenger seat needs to be so far up to make room for my two year old's feet. When I say baby seat, im not talking about one of those rear facing infant types - my kids are older. I'm not sure if one of the rear facing ones will fit well. Remember, the back seats on these cars are very upright. Hope this helps.

: i'm very interested in purchasing an 840i (96) or an 850ci (96) but before i start looking i would like to know if a car seat will fit into the rear of these cars?(Baby seat) and still be able to have two adults up front. thanks for your time and consideration. this is a great forum!
