: The audio/video equipment no comment meant to me, that is entirely a personal feelings. I never ever changed an AUDIO in my car unless it was defective. But that's me and I understands and trully admire those who have a nice and sharp audio. I still don;t feel to do it, and probably won;t but I'm not against it all ! As long as you know what you are doing and don't make it sound like a "Caddy" then it is fine. The other mods are depends on the owner's pocket. The clear lights are still not my choice and the HID light is great choice but I still like the pop-up version. I saw a 944 Porsche (also pop-up) with a Pontiac Sunfire headlight. That was beautiful and useful, but on the 8 the lamp is nicely done not like on the 944 or Miata for example. But the HID mods are definietly a go, I'll probably do it on mine. Sylvania makes a kit for the 8 and I saw the result - awesome candlepower ! The aluminum kit - I'm interested also Chrome wheels- not my style But to understand me, I send you a pics of my car. The 840Ci even with a supercharger won't be as quick as an M5 but close. (auto tranny versus 6spd) If you replace the rear differential then it might. I'll E-mail you the complete story about that awesome 8 series because that would take up a lot of space here !
