Instead buy a good digital phone and buy an In-car-set that is a microphone and speaker kit with a charger for about $199.00 and you'll have better reception (I'm not sure I said it correctly)
: Anyone who's wondering about my poor english, I'm not an english speaking people. I'm in the US 5 years ago and learned it here. So I'm very sorry for my childish dictionary and spelling errors, but I spend a lot of time dealing with foreign people and less time learning the english properly.

I have a phone from my '97 840Ci. I believe it is the factory OEM piece (I recently bought the car used, so I can't be positive). The pieces I have are the handset, cradle that fits between the front passenger seats, and the windshield mounted microphone (still on the windshield). There is an antenna mount on the rear window - it may be drilled through the glass or something - not sure. If I can figure out how to get the thing off without cracking the rear window, you can have the mounting also. Note the antenna itself is gone. Let me know if you are interested.
