: I had the whole interior out even with a carpet, so I pulled the lever and all that stuff of the car. Nothing special, but later on today, I'll E-mail you a diagram from a factory Repair manual.
A basic few steps are :

-pull the leather knob off (yes, no screw, pin,etc just plain pull it off !!! )
- get that leather boot off, 4 clips , 2 on each side. just move slowly with a small flat screwdriver
- take the 2 screw out of the surrounding panel (where the PRND4321 sign is) and you should be able to see the selector switch which if I'm correct resides on the left side of lever.
If you are lucky you can just make sure the pin sits in place and use a WD40 to make sure everythings perferctly oiled, but if you need a new switch it might be easier to pull the center console off. That is a little more screw and clip, but nothing special and the whole job is a simple task, but as usual don;t rush things !

E-mail me, so I can E-mail you the diagrams
