Take note that there is one electrical connector on the passenger seat and two on the driver's seat. I did some wire damage on my drivers seat while lifting it assuming it only had one connector like the passenger seat. The only repair to the seat back motor drive cable is to cut a length out of the sheath. I used a small dremel like cutter blade to slit the metal fitting at the motor end enough that I could pull the sheath out of it, cut off about 1/2 inch, put the sheath back in, recrimped it and used a fine wire wrapped tight to secure it. You can do this fix without getting into the gear box at the upper end.
