840 came in Ci and Ci Sport (at least here in the UK)

Difference was only cosmetic as far as I am aware. Ci Sport had addition of M-Tech suspension, body kit, M wheels.

850 had a few more flavours over the years but you say you are looking for an 840 anyway.
