1. Buy an ashtray from a dealer

2. Take the old ashtray apart and save the lid.
3. Take the new ones apart and put it back with
the old (wood) lid and you are finished !

If you have a regular plastic without the wood, it is even simplier, but the lid replacement is very easy to do.

Actually there is not many things can be broken, probably a little shaft is missing, that's why it doesn't stay closed.
I have a complete ashtray without the lid, so if anybody needs parts, let me know.
