Hi,

I am looking to buy a 1994-present 8 series BMW and was wondering the following:

1) What category does the car fall under as far as insurance is concerned? High performance or Luxury?

2) Is it better or worse on insurance compared to a BMW M3?

3) How much performance is lost between 6-spd and automatic?

4) Is 130,000 miles ok for a 1994 BMW 840? How much can they really go if they are well taken care of?
