In Reply to: does anyone know which is better an 840 or an 850? posted by Ben on July 11, 2000 at 23:35:52:

: Yes, I'm happy with it, got much better price then the street price and almost as fast as the 850Ci so I convinced myself to not go out and search for an 850CI. If this is going to be your daily cruiser then an 840Ci is perfect. If you want a sunday show car then go for the 850Ci !!!
I use my 840Ci every day and travel long trips as well. I have a CSI front spoiler and suspension mod's so the long trips are not too confortable. The suspension is not easy on my kidney but I still like it. Made my car ready for a high speed so it is a shame the speed limit is 70. I occasionaly do over 100+ and no signs of limit even at 125mph. (limiter kicks in at 138mph)
