I think you'll get one majority response on this and that's to get the Conforti chips. Yes, you WILL see a difference in power and torque with any chipset. I'm currently running the Dinan chips, but as soon as my upgrade wallet fills up, I'm switching sides. Note that only Dinan has a transmission chip, but those who've just added Jim C.'s engine chips will tell you that they're pleased just the same. A chipset is the biggest bang for the money that you can get, and will be especially helpful on your '91.

: I have a 91 stock 850 and was considering installing a chip set. There seems to be a reasonable amount of discussion on this subject but I have not found a recomendation whether it is worth the effort and what was the increace in performance.
: Is there a chip set brand which clearly give maximum performance over its competitors.
