I been in the market for and 840ci but I ran across a 88 M6 with 47k miles for 15k. Xint shape w/records. plus M6 was one of my "dream Cars" untill The 8 series came along. Which do you feel overall is better car if both in xint shape and for you speed freaks which is faster. For the tight money spender like me I could save $10g's. But I love the 8's look (1994 80K perfect cond w/warranty $25k )
U guys help !!!!!!!!!!1

Hal
ps I'm leaning towards the 8

Well, history says that the 8 was a disappointment when it replaced the 6. Overweight, over proced and less sporty, much more of a freeway cruiser than sporting coupe.

So, I guess it depends what you want out of the car. IMHO the 6 looks like a dated classic whilst the 8 still looks fresh. The 6 has the sportier edge but the 8 is still a lot of fun.

Me, well I never considered a 6, I just had to have an 8 ;-)
