Awoke this morn to a flat on my balding P4000's, time for new wheels and tires....

Any experience with MK wheels? In doing some shopping, I came across MK's that I "was told" (wink, wink) by the sales guy (who actually is fairly knowlegdable) are specifically designed for Bimmers and their fitment for the 850 is 18x11 and 18x9. Anybody tried this? The most common set-up seems to be 18x10 & 18x8.5 for most BMW and aftermarkets. Is this too wide for my '92 850iA. Would probably go with Michelin Sports in 285/35/18 and 245/40/18.

Thanks in advance, as always your opinions are priceless.
