Hi John

You are going down a hill in reverse or standing still then going backwards up the hill..? How steep is the hill? The traction control will not produce a vibration, but a smooth power decrease to avoid continued wheel spin after it occurs. Are you coasting or engaging/accelerating when the vibration occurs? Is there any of the same symptoms if you lock the auto/manual in first gear and drive the same path and speed?
