Bill,
The US CSi used the same front brakes as the stock 850i. There is often a misconception regarding this. However, the Euro CSi recieved a much larger 4 piston ATE caliper that has the ///M logo stamped into the front of it. In addition, the rotors were of the floating type (the hat is separated from the hub by slines). And the rotors also say ///m motorsport all around them. The cost of swapping out your front calipers for these is about 3K. It also includes new hub assemblies and backing plates. Also, if you have a 1991 850i there is some very tricky working of the ASC sensor rings that must be performed.
