I read on Edmunds.com that 1993 saw changes in the quality of materials used in the interior. What exactly does this mean? I've seen pics of all years, and the 1991's and 1992's really don't look that different from any others. I don't own an E31, but its information that would be nice to know once I consider buying one.

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

One thing that no one mentioned is the center console is a different geometry. The slope is reduced from the 91's (I have a '94). I prefer the '94, but I am sure that is just because the other cars are "different" than mine when I sit in them. Also...the stick shift seems to be fastened differently that the earlier cars (but this is just a guess)
