Could someone please help me with info regarding clear corner lenses for a 95 840ci. I saw some on a 840 over in England, and would like to know if there is anywhere in the US that sell them, and what price.

Also, does anyone have experience replacing a windshield - I just got a quote for $800. Are there significant differences with buying a third party one as opposed to OEM.

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge, clear lenses do not exist for the e31--there are smoke tinted available as a European factory part (front only). The windshield probably has a heating element in the bottom to prevent the wiper blades from sticking/freezing in cold weather, contributing to the high cost, but I DOUBT aftermarket glass manufacturers are going to even stock this part due to the extremely low production volumn of the 8er. Welcome to the high cost of ownership!
