You can't request a test or replacement. Only the owner. The extended warranty was 6 years or 100k miles whichever was first. If you have an early 95 the warranty could already be expired. You need to go to the dealer and find the in service date. The warranty expires 6 yrs from this date. You will have to either buy the car and take it to a dealer or have the current owner take the car. :I bought a 94 with 33k miles and had the engine tested on 19 May. My warranty expired on May 20th. The engine was bad and was replaced by BMW. The replacement is not completely free. Expect to spend about $500 replacing all the things (hoses, etc.) that you should be replaced with the engine out.
