Where does the factory stereo amp reside in a 94 840Ci?. I'm hearing it's somewhere in the trunk. Also does anybody know how many watts it puts out?

Mike, the amp is in the trunk, on the left (driver's) side, along with the phone transceiver if installed. Look in the trunk, on the left is a section with a hand screw at the top (looks the same as the tool kit hand screw). Unscrew that and the platform drops down. How many watts...?? (can't help you there).
