Also why the hell is it so expensive ? I saw (and purchased) strut tower braces for BMW's and other cars and the most expensive was about $399.00 also that one was made out of aircraft aluminum or something sophisticated strong and light weight material. What is this made out of ?
Seems like a nice touch but for that much money it is better be !

Yes it fits ALL 8ers to my knowledge (BMW puts the fenders and suspension in the same place on both versions of the e31, BTW), but you can access the MK website or e-mail Steve C. to be sure. To answer your "cost" question, I'll be rhetorical: Why does an M3 cost less than a 850CSi?? (HINT: economies of scale)
