Gentlemen! DON'T BE PISSED! And don't worry about Loren being "fooled", or anyone else for that matter who wanted to believe.

Like I said in every post, and hinted at often, I go both ways and shared all the member's doubts. I'm not going to PUBLICLY say he's a liar until I get the info to prove it. I was Switzerland in this situation for no other reason than I wanted to get to the bottom of it, and being neutral was the fastest way there. Having that attitude is PRECISELY why we HAVE this information, now isn't it?

I got the picture from him because I didn't show anything either way, but made my doubts non-threatening.

If I didn't do it, we wouldn't have this closure, now would we?

I'm rarely fooled... Ever since I watched the slickest IRS agent ever be buddy buddy with a client of mine, I realized the fastest way to get to the bottom of anything is make people feel like you're not a threat. This guy wore casual clothes, put his legs up on the desk, lit a cigarette and asked if there were any hot babes around. That's exactly what let my client's gaurd down. I'm the same way now when I don't believe or wonder. Dig in, don't argue, come back with proof. Even stick up for them a little bit, and its amazing what they'll reveal. Notice how I really didn't defend him, but rather concentrated on the possibility of it being real, like the hovercraft. Bait and switch. :)

Anyway, I knew something was wrong in the posts when C70 was mentioned by A8 instead of M70. The picture he sent, by the way, was titled 840iSC.gif.

Well, there's no 840i, and he's supposed to have an 850. NONE of us would make that naming mistake when uploading a picture of our car. More doubt. But I just emailed him asking him if I could rename it properly.

Get the drift?

:)~
