Engine serial numbers are located on the right side (looking forward), on a flat machined surface above the a/c pump and immediately behind the timing chain tensioner anti-tamper cover. Consists of two sets of numbers:

Engine code: XX XX X

Example: 50 12 A - meaning 5.0 liters, 12 cylinders, and a country code.

Engine serial: XXXX XXXX

Example: 6234 0305 - production lines and serial numbers. That's the number you are looking for.
