Would removing the cats and running a straight pipe cause the mufflers to wear faster? I kinda thought about doing it, but my brother says I would need new mufflers sooner, and my mufflers are only 6 months old. Also how much differnce would it make in performance, I did that with my Merc 190E 2.5 and it made a huge difference, enough to be very noticable. Also on my 1991 Toyota MR2 Twin Turbo, I felt a power increase. Last thing, would the sound change also?
