Mark, thanks for the tips, I am truly going to make a list of all those items suggested here and several others suggested in private e-mail, then we can all have a check list to go down in case any of our cars starts to get hot. Heat will kill a good engine, so it's a nice thing to know. Besides who wants to turn off the A/C when it's 120 in the shade??

Is the lower radiator baffle/tray in place and securely attached? It's there for a reason, as is the top baffle running along the top of the engine. Also, the front spoiler is important and must be tightly attached to the valance.

Aerodynamics of these cars is very touchy, and some of these plastic pieces, while innocent looking, do perform some weird aerodynamic functions around the engine compartment.

Just guessing here.
