Gentlemen ( you too Aluminum/Blah ),

I've read that the coils in my '93 are better replaced near the 60k mile mark. I've just gone through a DIY change of: plugs, dist. rotor & caps, oil, brake fluid, final drive gear lube, CHS 11, radiator drain, K & N Filters, fuel filters, and ran Techron through two consectutive tanks of gas (89 octane). However, the VERY first push on the gas in the morning out of the driveway is followed by a brief, but conisitent lag in acceleration (Autobox).

Anyone know how faulty or "diminishing" coil performance would be reflected in engine performance? I've considered replacing the spark plug wires and the coils as preventative maintenance.

Be safe boys!
Puff
