Kurt & All. I would like to know if there are enough 850 owners out there to put together a team of 850's to run 90 miles of officially closed Highway (318) in Nevada next May. To form a team we would need a minimum of 10 cars. The race is actually a high speed road rally with speed classes from 90 mph thru approx 180 with even an unlimited class (current record 207mph). The race sells out months in advance, so think about it now. For info check it out @

Nice idea, but look at the rules. In the 155+ or unlimited category you need a safety CAGE in your car, not just a roll bar. You need a roll bar in the two categories below that as well, not to mention a physical "wall" between fuel cell and cabin, which makes it hard in the 8s since our tank is basically our rear seats... We'd have to pick a much lower division speed wise if we didn't want to destroy our interiors with lots of work.
