Yes I'm running in Sept (2 weeks). My daughter navigates for me. In speed classes to 110 mph you can run a completely stock car. Add a fire extinguisher & speed rated tires and you're ready to go. The challenge here is to average as close to your target speed as you can. It takes a varience in your average speed of less than +/- .00xx mph to even be in the running over the 90 mile run. You can run no higher than 124 mph in the "Touring Division" or you'll dq if busted. In the next class you'll need to add a 5 or 6 point harness & you're good to go! Grand touring has additional speed classes of 115, 120 & 125 with top speeds to 140 mph before dq. The next classes require a roll bar & the following division add a full cage & fuel cell etc. etc. Our stock fuel tanks are below the sheet metal floor so the "Walled off" provision doesn't apply unless you get real serious about turning your car into a race car. Re check the web site for particulars. Plus it's a good excuse to spend a few nights in Vegas & a few days in an olde mining town: Ely Nevada. Cannon ball run was not as much fun as this is!!!! There are 10 - 11 Panteras entered as a team as well as cobras, vetts, vipers Unbelievable fun!! A team of 850's.... My God! Larry
