540iA Sport has 3:15 rear axle. Believe you're looking at reg 540.

540iA Sport is elec. limited to 155 MPH. Yes, I picked up the car in Munich, and cruised at much better than 128 MPH numerous times. The reg 540 does not have Z rated tires, and is limited to 128, as you say.

Your comments remind me of my '84 928. It did not really reach its element below 80 MPH. Great car, though.

You must have raced an auto. Your top speed is 128, which is just beginning to breath for our cars though! :-)
