'82 733i CV boots cracked on rear end shafts...... (archive)

Hello All....
Found this problem the other day while replacing rear springs. I already have the new boots, (outer/inner) and some very unusual clamps to secure the new boots. I have removed the center section (differential) before, will this job require that operation? Or can I remove each side one at a time? Without completely removing from vehicle. I received the new parts from Bavarian Autosport, how do you attached the new Fancy looking clamps? The job does not look to tuff? I'm I right?
