My switch IS illuminated. "EDC" is only illuminated when the headlights are on (and the S/K is dimmed then).

I apologize for doubting you. We have two different cars, or I have a defective switch, or BMW did some cost cutting in 95. Puff should be even more in doubt as to whether his S/K should be lit.
