The problem here was the definition of 1 pound (force)
and
thed definition of torque foot/pounds.
(if the torque was measure in pounds (force) or weight, when I saw the 9.8 figure I became confused)
So, what I have learnd today is that the definition of 1 pound (force) is:
The force needed to accelerate 1 pound (mass) to 386 in/s^2.
The confusing part here was that the definition of 1 pound (force) have the earth acceleration in it's definition 386 in/s^2 = 9.806 m/s^2.
The acceleration could be whatever but the choise became earth acceleration. (whitch make sense),
but still can be confusing.
