Will 100W 9006 HID bulbs work in the stock lights? Is the wattage too high? What do you recommend (just looking at bulb replacement).

TIA,

Dear Stan,

I'm sort of confused. The 9006 is a "standard" filament bulb. The HID system uses an arc across Xenon gas to create light. There is no such thing as a "Xenon Bulb" that converts a regular system to an HID system (there are, however, faux Xenon bulbs - coated regular bulbs that will emit a blue-ish light to fool others into thinking that you have the genuine article) . To do the conversion, you need to buy the entire HID assembly (ballasts etc.). The HID system actually uses less wattage than a"conventional" lighting system.
