Well, not really a movie, but there is a video out that is a 45 minute tribute to the concept, design, and introduction of the 8 series. It was produced by in Europe and is distributed by Films for the Arts and Humanities. Here are the links:

Go to the home page and type in "CAD" as the keyword search. I bought the video and it's great. I paid full price, but I hear you can get it cheaper if you tell them you are not purchasing for education or public broadcast.
