E-31 Desk size model cars (archive)

Derek Pinton turned me onto an E31 model of my exact car on the ebay auction. I bought the car and the fellow who sold it specializes in model cars. My model is very accurate and nice and I asked him if there would be others available for other E31 owners and he said that they didn't make the models anymore but he knows where to pick some up. So he said to tell those interested that he can provide them with an exact replica of their car, Paint, Upholstery and license plate for a price between $40 to $70 plus shipping depending upon whether or not he has to paint the car to match their color. On my car the hood fits nice over the headlights and the engine looks good for a model and the tires and wheels, all very nice for a replica model.

I have nothing to do with this other than being a buyer, but I thought that maybe some of you would be interested in having a desk model of your exact car. If so the mans name is Chris Contes and his E-mail is:
