There have been a few people wondering about the sound and quality of supersprint mufflers for the 850 so I thought I would drop my 2 cents. Mine were installed two days ago after being shipped from zygmunt. They arrived in perfect condition with good looking welds and no quality problems as a few people have experienced. The guys at GTI said the install was one of the easiest they've had though the fit was pretty tight. Most have reported their supersprints to sound relatively close to stock. In my experience, the supersprints have a much lower note though not really any louder than stock which I like. I do seem to get some sort of resonance from the mufflers at around 1000 rpm where the exhaust seems to growl a little louder and a little deeper. My only complaint is that the exhaust fumes have become sharper and more acrid smelling which I'm hoping is only temporary and will fade as the exhaust wears in. As far as power goes, I haven't noticed much of a difference. There does seem to be slightly less power fade as you reach redline but that just might be my imagination driven by the aggressive look of those gigantic polished tips.
