Although the 6 speed was "standard" equipment on the 1991-1993 850s very, very few were equipped. Estimates are that from 1-5% of the total US 850 sales from 1991-1997 (approx 4000), OR about 10% of the 1991-1993 US sales had the manual transmission. This works out to a combined total of from 40-200 US cars. Just wanted to clarify that this is different than "about 10% of 850's sold in the US" = 400 (.10 x 4000).

6 speed transmission was standard equipment on all 850 i's (91 and 92) and the 93 850 Ci.
Only about 10% of 850's sold in the US actually had manual transmissions (when it was available).
