Now I am surprised, I often wondered what the button with BMW on my key fob was supposed to activate? So, perhaps my car does have a keyless remote that just isn't working? So then the guy I bought the car from didn't know that??? so he installed an Alpine "SEC-8028" keyless entry and alarm that only works the Eng and doors, not the windows.

The Alpine "SEC-8028" cost $155. according to his receipt and the installation by Paradyme Inc cost $204. for a total of 371.01 with tax etc. However, it may turn out that I have the keyless entry in the car anyway, just not working? Stan says it's in the left side underdash kickpanel?? What a mystery these cars are?
