I have a 91 850 and the dealer told me after 2 hours of trying they could not install the module for keyless remote in my car. They said it was not wired for it. They told me I would have to gey an aftermarket one installed. Needless to say I have not done that because I don't believe they have the expertise to do the job with out haking up my wiring.

Now I am really wondering?? does my 91 have the remote keyless entry?? The Key fob has a button to push with BMW on it? Did American 91s have a keyless entry?? I have been telling many on the board that I didn't think 91 had it? am I wrong??

Perhaps the guy I bought my car from simply had an aftermarket installed because he didn't know?
