Do not forget to look at the 94-97 840's ( 4.0 liter V8's ) as for any other advice Kurt is on the mark. Yes, I know the block problems in 94 & 95. Still well worth the look. Just review the message board for more information.

Seeing as I killed myself through law school, I want to give myself an 850 as a graduation gift, and figured now is a good tme to start learning the details that make the difference.
I am very well versed on cars, and have had a crush on the 850 since I was in high school. I don't want to get a lemon, or a beater car...can someone who truly loves their car get me started in the right direction (i.e. reputable used dealers, blah blah.) Unless of course one of you can get your hands on an Audi Avus Quattro for me....LOL
