Hi fellows,

Some days ago I had a short question regarding winter hibernation and CarlT gave me a good list of things to check before I put my baby to sleep for the long Swedish winter (Thanks Carl!). One of the points in Carl's list, and also something that other people recomend me to do is to jack car off the ground and place it on four stands.

My question here is...what is the best location for these stands? I mean...the car is going to be locked in for about six months and I really would hate to damage the car for doing this in the wrong way. I mean, these cars are HEAVY and I really want to make sure that the stands are placed on four points that will hold the car off the ground without damaging things for me.

Anybody who has done this before who can give me some good advice on this? I really think I should do this, or I will end up with flat spots on my tyres when spring comes.

Best regards,

Fedde
