KC BMW Dealer owned car on EBay? (archive)

Congratulations on your purchase.
This sounds like the CSi that was owned by a Kansas City Dealer and was advertised on Ebay about a month ago.
I heard it was sold to a guy in Colorado, so maybe it's you?
I thought the car did not sell through the Ebay auction process, but was purchased directly from the dealer, after the auction ended in a no sale.

Maybe Ebay would be a good way to sell the car, even if you just use it with a high reserve to get the advertising out of it, and sell it later directly to a buyer.
Is that how you got the CSi?

Hi everyone;

This is such a great board. I've got a dilemma. Would appreciate your input.

I just purchased a 1994 850Csi. It's blue with two-tone grey interior. 30K miles. Awesome shape. I also have a 1991 850i 6sp with only 14K miles. It's black with a black interior. It's museum/showroom quality. Had a Level I inspection done 08/2000...and the mechanics were amazed at how clean this car is. I really can't keep both cars...although there are days I think I might be able to.
Anyway, this car has had an awesome life, an interesting history, and great collateral to back it up. Besides receiving a fair price, I'd like to make sure that this car gets a good home (sounds like a proud parent, eh?).

So, here's the dilemma: forget for a moment price and mass media advertising. How can one find an individual that will appreciate the 8 Series and take continued care of this car?
