The price of petrol in Australia for high octane unleaded is about US $2.24 per US gallon.
Half of that ammount in Govt tax.

I was shocked about how much cheaper the gas in Georgia then Florida. I used to pay $1.78 average for a gallon of "93" octane and when I reached Georgia I was paying $1.51. Since the Israeli problem getting worse and worse the price here in Florida went up to almost $2.00/gallon , I saw $1.91/gallon of "93" octane.
I know it is still a lot cheaper then for example UK, but how much is it really elsewhere ?
how high can it be ?
