I keep a small pillow in the car to put over the phone..........and / or........... use it on the door rest for longer trips..........that damn door IS hard

I would prefef to keep the car as original as possible i.e. not to drill holes etc. in the console.... besides the lower "compartment is great for altoids and the upper one is great for sun glasses...... my 2 sense worth
