Good Lord! replace the airbag?? Can you imagine what the dealer wants for one of those????

Looking at your IP address, are you from Europe? Do You have a GSM phone? I remember Volvo had a recall in Europe for GSM phone related deployments, so you theory might be correct. Is it a handheld phone? If so, try setting it up with an external antenna. That will solve the interference problem.

On another note, I was reading on of my car owners’ manual and it states that the airbag should be replaced every 10 years... Has anyone else seen this?
