Derek, a door panel removal is a pretty easy job. Yes, you might broke off a few clip, everybody does. Get them along with a bulbs and replace them when you are ready to reinstall. If you want, I can fax/e-mail you the process. a few screw and a lot of clip around the edge of the panel. I've done it a few times and the 8 series panel is one of the best to remove ! Heavy door panel and good quality ! the light ones are harder because you might even break the whole panel which is not the case in the 8 series.
