Has anyone else seen this issue yet? I just picked it up and it shows a complete how-to for an HID conversion using Ford units form a '97 Lincoln Mark VIII. Apparently the conversion will work in anything that takes a 9005/9006 bulb such as an 840/850.

I honestly don't know a lot in this area and am hoping that one of the more knowledgeable and/or experienced posters here can shed some light (pun intended!) on the sublect. If the conversion is doable, it seems we could benefit from a little raiding of the Ford parts bin. First I need to fix the adjuster in my car (Thanks for the parts list, Lez!) and then I will be pretty serious about some better lighting. Any ideas or help????

Is it possible for you to scan the article and email it to me? I happen to have a complete Ford HID set and a spare E31 headlight assembly just for this exact reason. I would be more than happy to share the procedure, with photos, to the board if I can get the article.
