Not to sound like a prig, but why would you want to put cheap tires on an 850? To me, that seems like wearing a tuxedo with Converse All-Stars. Being a heavy, high horsepower auto, I would think you'd want the best rubber available.

That said, the consensus I've seen for lower cost tires that still work well are Dunlops. However, you'll find some who don't like them (calling them Dunflops!). Of course, a lot depends on driving conditions (dry, wet, snow) and driving style. Also remember that tires will effect acceleration, cornering and braking. Personally, I consider getting the best tires available to be paramount for any car, no matter what the price. After all, thats where the "rubber meets the road".
