at least you are ok and that is the most important !

You are facing some serius money unless want to go to junk-yard parts :

door shell : $990/each
quarter panel : $1,200/each
rear bumper : $850
halfshaft : $429.00/each
crossmember of the rear susp.: $880
each control arm : $350-400/each

and that is just a big stuff , the small stuff usually a same amount. I'd say at least 5k USD with painting and finishing. I'd get a money for a BMW delaer service and have it done at the local yokal shop and sell the car - unless it'll be done nicely.
The rear on the 8 is just as bad hit as the front. The rear suspension is more complicated and more expansive then the front.
also transfercase could have been hit also that is another 1,500USD. how about tranny, engine, through the driveshaft they could have damage also...
I don't know give it a few days and think about it. If the ins. company gives you the real worth of the car then you can go ahead and try to replace it. ( i doubt they'll give you the real value) and then buy the wreck back and fix it from a junk yard. I can give you a few numbers to check for sheet metal parts. If the quarter is reparable then you might be oke if not ...
well as I said at least you are oke ! Get some rest and do not worry about it for a day or two... you'll have to be relaxed when you start talking the biggest stealers in the industry ( insurance company)
